Nursery:
Lha connects volunteers interested in working with children and who plan to stay for at least three months with Rogpa Baby Care Center. Rogpa provides free childcare services for children between 8 months and 3 years old.
Some families in the Tibetan refugee community need additional childcare outside the home because of a need for a two-income household, a death in the family, or other factors. Rogpa provides a safe, loving environment for more than 35 children between 8:30 and 5pm, six days a week, at no charge, in an effort to help their families become self-sufficient and independent.
