Lha Charitable Trust is pleased to announce a scholarship for three Tibetan female students, who would like to pursue Nursing degrees.

The aim of the scholarship is to provide help for girls who are from families with financial difficulties and priority will be given to those who are not receiving financial aid from elsewhere.

Details of the scholarship:

1).  The selected students will receive Indian Rupees: 90,000 for college tuition and other expenses each year.

2).  The scholarship amount will be given in two installments each year.

3).  This scholarship will be valid for three years.

4).  The selected student must sign a contract with us to complete the Nursing degree.

5).  Under the contract, the student will be required to refund the whole amount back to us in case of incompletion of the degree.

Eligibility for the scholarship:

* Applicant must be Tibetan origin women.

* Applicant must have attained at least 60% in the 12th board exam.

Documents for submission:

1.  Application including brief introduction of yourself and family background.

2.  Updated Registration Certificate

3.  Updated Green book

4.  Class 12 pass certificate and mark sheets

5.  Two passport size photos.

6.  Two recommendation letters from any Tibetan Settlement office, school, or NGOs to prove that the applicant needs this financial support.

Selection Procedure: Interview by three outside assessors.
