Greeting from Rotary International District 3070!

I want to congratulate Lha Charitable Trust for their 20 years of service to humanity. Lha Charitable Trust not only works to ease the transition of Tibetan refugee community, now living in India but also serves to the less fortunate people from the Himalayan region including the local Indians. Over the 20 years, Lha has done various social services that have contributed immensely to the community.

Rotary Club Dharamshala and Lha Charitable Trust began to work closely since 2005. Lha provided commendable contributions and social services alongside the Rotary Club Dharamshala in serving the needy people in Dharamshala community. Rotary Club also works towards serving the humanity and it is our honor to be associated with Lha Charitable Trust which is making huge differences in people’s lives through their social services.

Through our association, Lha ha[s] provided monetary contributions and support through various projects including: three RO Clean Water Projects at local Indian schools, large content of clothing donations, donation of more than fifty-five large boxes of children’s books, dictionary distributions, and sponsorship of meals and rations in the local Indian schools.

Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad.

Congratulations once again to all the members of Lha Charitable Trust for service done to humanity and I pray to the Almighty to give more strength to this organization to serve more people in their community.
I take this opportunity to extend my greetings and best wishes to all the dedicated members of this club for their endeavor.
