Message From Prof Samdhong Rinpoche

Messag from Prof Samdhong RinpocheOn the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the organisation of Lha Charitable Trust, it is a pleasure for me to express my congratulations to Lha on their completion of 20 years of glorious success.

Lha has been providing quality services to the Tibetan community with unselfish and generous support from the donors and volunteers around the globe, as well as the total commitment of the team of stuff. I am also pleased to learn that Lha has provided their services to the local Indian population as well as people from the across the Himalayan region, and many underprivileged people who are in the need of such services. Lha makes a difference to so many peoples’ livelihoods. In any democratic society, and especially in our critical Tibetan situation, civil society organizations assume immense responsibilities and can play a leading role in the community development and for the welfare of so many people in need, all the while collaborating with local and international organizations. Lha is one such organization.

Organizations like Lha, with team of dedicated staff members and volunteers and supporters from the across the world, can only aim for the very best results and hope to be of benefit to others. Lha has been able to provide many different social services that have contributed to the improvement and growth of community in the last 20 years.

The organization’s commitment and sincerity in its determination to serve others has been proven over the time, and has gained much deserved recognition and respect. Many people have gained so much, in so many ways over the years through Lha’s activities.

Therefore I would like to express my own appreciation of Lha’s work: to its stuff members, donors and volunteers whose efforts and generous support have enabled Lha to accomplish so much and become the successful and worthwhile organization that it is today. I wish Lha a great success for many more years to come.
