We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the first batch of the Special Cuisine course, a key component of the livelihood training programs organized by Lha. Over the course of two months, our students—consisting of two dedicated girls and four enthusiastic boys—immersed themselves in learning a variety of traditional and modern cooking techniques. Following the main training, each student will also have the opportunity to apply their newly acquired skills during a one-month internship, gaining hands-on experience in real-world kitchens. We are confident that this experience will serve as a stepping stone for their future careers in the culinary field and help them contribute positively to their communities.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our trainer, Mr. Penpa La, whose dedication, patience, and expertise were instrumental in the success of this batch. His personalized approach ensured that every student received the guidance and support they needed to excel. We also wish to express our sincere thanks to The Tibet Fund for their continued support in making these livelihood training programs possible. We wish all our graduates the best of luck in their future endeavors and look forward to welcoming the next batch of students to this enriching course.
