Water Filter System for Nuns in Rewalsar
As a part of Lha’s ongoing Clean Drinking Water Project, we installed the latest water filter system machine in a Tibetan nunnery in Tsopema, Rewalsar on January 10. There are over 45 nuns living in the nunnery. The nunnery is located away from the town and doesn’t have easy access to clean drinking water. This water filter system will serve the nuns, visitors and pilgrims with clean drinking water. This is the 32nd filter system we have installed in various communities across North India. The 32nd filter machine was funded by VÒNG TAY VIỆT NAM from Vietnam.
Clean Drinking Water Project is carried out with the help of donations and support from individuals and organisations. To read more about this project, visit this link: https://www.lhasocialwork.org/social-work/#clean-water
