The Foundation for Universal Responsivity’s annual Gurukul Program participants visited Lha Charitable Trust on June 15 -16, 2023. Lha’s Director Tsering Wangdue introduced the organisation’s aims and objectives and current educational and social work programs. The diverse group of 24 people from across India were in Dharamshala on a three-week program visiting various Tibetan with aim of seeking to reviving centuries-old relationship of exchange of ideas and experiences between Indians and Tibetans.

As per the program coordinator’s request, we have arranged Tibetan culinary experience event for them. Through this event, Gurukul fellows learned how to make Tibetan butter tea, momo and Tsampa (barley) – the traditional Tibetan stable food.
