Celebrating His Eminence Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche’s 86th birthday is a significant event and a profound opportunity. Furthermore, in accordance with the resolution adopted at the 8th Tibetan General Conference on Education in January 2025, it has been resolved that Tibetan Teachers’ Day shall be celebrated annually on November 5, the auspicious birthday of His Eminence Professor Samdhong Rinpoche, in recognition of Rinpoche’s extraordinary contributions to Tibetan education, academic achievements and Cultural Heritage. This occasion is a powerful call to action, inviting Tibetans from across the globe, particularly his devoted students, followers, and those who cherish Rinpoche’s kindness, with an intellectual eye. We will collectively honour Rinpoche’s extraordinary legacy through heartfelt appreciation, profound admiration, and sincere gratitude for His Eminence’s monumental achievements. This event is a powerful symbol of unity, uniting the global Tibetan community and supporters to celebrate Rinpoche’s legacy and draw inspiration from his lifelong dedication to nonviolence, truth, and the betterment of humanity.
