Lha Charitable Trust is pleased to announce a scholarship for five Tibetan students who would like to pursue nursing degree or who are currently pursuing nursing degrees. The aim of the scholarship is to provide help for students who are from families with financial difficulties and priority will be given to those who are not receiving financial aid from elsewhere.

Details of the scholarship:

• The selected students will receive Indian Rupees: 50,000/- for college tuition and other expenses.
• The scholarship amount will be a one-time payment.

Eligibility for the scholarship:

• Applicant must be Tibetan origin.
• Applicant must have attained at least 60% in the 12th board exam and have passed marks in the previous academic year for those who are already in college.

Documents for submission:

1. Application (statement of purpose including brief introduction of yourself and family background and why this scholarship is important for you).
2. Updated Registration Certificate
3. Updated Green book
4. Class 12 pass certificate or result of the previous academic year for those who are already in college.
5. One passport size photo.
6. Two recommendation letters from any Tibetan Settlement office, school, or NGOs to prove that the applicant needs this financial support.
