Lha Clothing Drive 2009

Saturday, April 18, Lha hosted a free clothing distribution at its headquarters on Temple Road. Over 200 local people came and collected over 1,000 items

of donated clothing, including brand-new baby clothing items; men’s, women’s, and children’s clothes; shoes, jackets, scarves, and other items.

Apart from organized clothing distributions like this one, Lha regularly distributes items of clothing to individuals from its location on Temple Road. Also, each month, Lha distributes at least one- to two-hundred, and sometimes up to 500 items of clothing to the local community, through its partnership with the Dharamsala Rotary Club.
