It has been a real privilege and honor to work with you and LHA Charitable Trust through your volunteer opportunities and cultural exchange program between foreign students and the Tibetan community.
I am sure that our 60 students from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Santa Fe Campus, as well as all the teachers who participated in this exchange in December 2012, December 2013, and December 2014, will keep unforgettable memories of this wonderful experience, since we had the opportunity to experience the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of the Tibetan community.
During this collaboration, we could benefit from your deep engagement as a committed NGO in favor of the Tibetan refugee population, in McLeod Ganj, in other Indian regions and abroad. We witnessed all the programs and concrete actions LHA Charitable Trust carries out with compassion and efficiency in order to help the Tibetan refugee population in their basic needs as well as educational, cultural, and spiritual growth, thanks to all the services you offer to your community: Language Classes (Tibetan, English, Chinese, French and German), Computer Skills Classes and IT Workshops, Preservation and Promotion of Tibetan Language and Culture, Community Newspaper-‘Contact Magazine’, Community Soup kitchen, Clean water project, Environmental Awareness programs, HIV/AIDS Awareness program, Free clothing and medicine distribution, Clear Vision and Dental health project, Community Library, Massage Therapy Vocational Training, Photography Training, and Free Book Distribution.
As the High School Director of PrepaTec Santa Fe, I personally participated in our exchange program in December 2013, and I am really very pleased to have been given the opportunity to live among the Tibetan community and discover their incredible cultural and spiritual richness. I would also like to thank you for your great hospitality at Ahimsa House.
The whole team of PrepaTec Santa Fe congratulates LHA on your 20th anniversary and wishes you much more success in the following years since LHA has a vital important for the Tibetan community.
