Lha Charitable Trust is pleased to announce the 2026 Lha Nursing Scholarship for five Tibetan students who are pursuing or wish to pursue nursing degrees and come from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students so they can continue their education and work toward a meaningful career in healthcare.
Scholarship Details
- Selected students will receive INR 50,000/- as a supplementary scholarship to support college tuition fees and other educational expenses.
- The scholarship amount will be provided as a one-time payment.
- Scholarship recipients will be selected based on application assessment and interview. Priority will be given to students with genuine financial need.
- Applicants must complete and submit the Google Form application.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be of Tibetan origin.
- Applicants must have secured at least 60% in their Class 12 board examinations.
- Students who are already enrolled in college must have passing marks in their previous academic year.
Required Documents:
- Application / Statement of Purpose (including a brief introduction of yourself, your family background, and why this scholarship is important to you).
- Updated Registration Certificate.
- Updated Green Book.
- Class 12 pass certificate or result of the previous academic year for students already enrolled in college.
- One passport-size photograph.
- Two recommendation letters:
- One from the respective Tibetan Settlement Office
- One from the applicant’s school
