Spanish language classes were started late 2009 in response to the increasing demand to learn a foreign language. While the classes offered proved successful, in comparison to the other languages offered we had less demand for continuing Spanish courses. Currently Lha does not offer formal Spanish language courses, but there is a demand for one-on-one private tutors within our community.
Spanish Language Tutors will ideally be native speakers, or have a high level of Spanish language skill. Tutoring is coordinated through the Lha Office Front Desk. Tutors may decide how many students they can reasonably take on, and lessons are then arranged between the tutor and students according to both parties’ schedules and preferences. Language tutors have access to all the teaching materials and aids available in the Lha Library, located in the main office building on Temple Road.
